The pipe is the oldest format in tobacco and the one with the strongest ritual attached to it - the weight in the hand, the slow draw, the pipe that gets picked up rather than lit and finished. The electronic pipe carries that format forward and takes the smoke out of it.
ePuffer has crafted electronic pipes since 2007, longer than almost anyone. Our signature ePipe 629 series is built from genuine rosewood and ebony hardwoods, hand-polished and fitted with a rechargeable battery and refillable tank system. Replacement stems, bowls, tanks, and spares are all stocked, so your e-pipe is built to last, not to be thrown away.
A note on availability: the ePipe 629 series has sold through and is being retired. Its successor, the ePipe 659, is in production now - manual button firing with LED indication, and full Churchwarden mouthpiece compatibility across the range. Spares and replacement tanks for existing 629 pipes remain stocked. To be notified when the 659 reaches Canada, get in touch.
Pair your e-pipe with our traditional pipe tobacco e-liquids - including English Flake and naturally extracted tobacco blends - for an experience closest to the classic pipe. Crafted by ePuffer and shipped Canada-wide, with free shipping on orders over $100.

Electronic Pipe FAQ

A vape pipe - or e-pipe - keeps the shape, weight and balance of a traditional briar pipe but produces vapour instead of smoke. There is no bowl of tobacco and nothing is lit. A rechargeable battery sits in the stem, and a refillable tank holds the e-liquid.What it preserves is the ritual: the same object in your hand, the same slow draw, the same way it sits in the mouth. What it removes is the maintenance - no packing, no tamping, no relighting halfway through, no ash and no dottle.
ePuffer has built e-pipes since 2007, longer than almost anyone in the category. Our 629 series is turned from genuine rosewood and ebony hardwood rather than moulded from plastic, which is why they have weight and grain rather than a printed finish.

Three components: a rechargeable battery in the stem, an atomizer holding the heating coil, and a tank for the e-liquid.The coil heats the e-liquid past its boiling point and it becomes vapour, which travels up through the stem to the mouthpiece. Nothing is burned, so there is no ember, no ash and no smoke.
The draw is deliberately tight - closer to a pipe than to a modern high-airflow vape - which is what makes the sipping motion of pipe use feel natural rather than forced. You fill the tank yourself from a bottle, so the flavour and nicotine strength are your choice each time rather than fixed by a sealed cartridge.

The 629 series has sold through and is being retired. Its successor, the ePipe 659, is in production now. What changes on the 659:
- Manual button firing with LED indication, rather than relying solely on draw activation - more control over when the coil fires and how long for.
- Full Churchwarden mouthpiece compatibility across the range. Worth noting for existing owners: the later batch of 629 X3 tanks is not Churchwarden compatible, and the 659 resolves that.
- The same hardwood construction and pipe proportions the 629 was built around.
If you own a 629, spares and replacement tanks continue to be stocked - the device is not being abandoned. We have supported e-pipe owners since 2007 and are not about to stop because a model number changed.
To be notified when the 659 is available in Canada, get in touch and we will let you know.

Pipe tobacco blends, if you want the experience to match the format. ePuffer blends its own e-liquids in-house and specialises in tobacco profiles rather than treating them as an afterthought behind a wall of fruit flavours.English Flake is the closest to a traditional pipe tobacco - dry, full, and built around naturally extracted tobacco rather than a synthetic tobacco flavouring. It is the blend most e-pipe owners settle on.
Nothing stops you filling the tank with anything else from our e-liquid range, and some owners keep two tanks for exactly that reason. But the pipe format and a tobacco blend were designed for each other.
Nicotine strengths run from 20 mg/mL - the Canadian federal maximum - down to nicotine-free.

ePipe 629 kits are $269.95 to $299.95 depending on the wood and configuration. That is not an impulse purchase, and it is not meant to be - these are hardwood devices with a serviceable tank system, sold in a wooden gift box with a manual, batteries and charger included. The comparison worth making is not against a $30 disposable but against a good briar / rosewood / ebony hardwood pipe, which occupies the same price bracket and the same place in a collection.
Running costs after the kit are e-liquid and the occasional tank or coil. Spares are stocked as ongoing lines - stems, tanks and replacement parts - so the pipe is repairable rather than disposable. Free shipping applies on orders over $100.

All ePuffer rechargeable products carry a one-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. Full terms are on our warranty and delivery page. The more useful commitment is parts. We stock spares for e-pipe models going back years, so a worn tank or a lost stem is a replacement part rather than a new pipe. That is the difference between a device designed to be serviced and one designed to be replaced.
Orders ship Canada-wide from our Ontario facility. Your first order requires an adult signature on delivery via Canada Post; subsequent orders do not. If you are unsure which part fits your model, contact us with the model number and we will confirm it.
